Overview
You can view additional information about a file using the toolbox. The toolbox appears on the right side of the page when you select a single file in the Content list. Use the tabs to view different information as needed. Click the X to close the toolbox when you are done. Sections on each tab that do not contain data are collapsed, and sections that contain data are expanded. Use the arrows to expand and collapse sections as needed.

Viewing the File on the Platform
You can use the Go to location button to access the file location. To view the file, you must log into the platform account as a credentialed user with permission to access it. Alternatively, you can use the Copy link button to copy the item URL. Based on your needs, you can paste the URL into a new browser window, spreadsheet, chat, email, etc.

Browser Limitations
Some browsers block local file access for security reasons. In this instance, the Go to location button will be unavailable.
Understanding How Data Displays
The toolbox respects the setting selected for each column on the Content page. If a column displays the raw data in the content grid, you will see the raw data in the toolbox. If the column is set to “show/hide,” you will see the data masked with periods. Click the eye icon to view the actual value (A). When the content is visible, you can click the eye icon with the line through it to hide the values. If a column is set to “redacted,” you will see a green check mark if the entity was found in the file and a dash if it wasn’t found in the file (B). You will see dashes for the content (C) if a column is hidden.

File Info
The File info tab provides quick access to information about the file’s location, properties, and sharing access. Files assigned to a migration plan will have an additional Intelligent Migration section at the bottom of the File info tab. This section displays the information relevant to the file's migration.
Permanant Field Display
Note that the Location information, Type, and Publicly available fields will always show the corresponding information regardless of the column settings.

Approval Workflow
If the approval action has been added to the file, the top section of the File info tab displays the approval workflow. You will select whether to approve or reject the action and provide a reason for the approval or rejection. If additional actions follow the approval action in an action set, those actions depend on the approval action workflow to trigger. Approving an item allows the action set to continue. Denying the item will halt all additional actions in the action set.

The information required for configuration varies depending on the action(s) you selected. Click Go to scan to configure the scan.

Contents and Entities
The Contents and entities tab provides additional information about the file details and metadata. It also provides the file classification category and lists the entity DryvIQ identified in the file.

File Activity
The Activity tab tracks all file events, including file renames and moves. Currently, activity is unavailable for files on Network File System connections.
