Overview
If connections become disconnected, you can reconnect them using the existing credentials (the credentials used to create the connections) or by adding new credentials.
Reconnecting Using Existing Credentials
- Expand Manage in the left menu.
- Click Connections.
- Locate the disconnected connection in the Connections list.
- Click the ellipses (…) in the Actions column.
- Click Reconnect from the menu that displays. (Note that Reconnect only displays for disconnected connections.)
- A Reconnect modal displays. Note that the modal will contain fields specific to the storage platform.
- Click Reconnect with existing credentials.
- DryvIQ will attempt to connect to the platform. You will see a green "Connected” message at the bottom of the modal when DryvIQ establishes a connection. (If the connection fails, you may need to reconnect using new credentials.)
- Click Done to finish creating the connection.
Reconnecting Using New Credentials
- Expand Manage in the left menu.
- Click Connections.
- Locate the disconnected connection in the Connections list.
- Select the ellipses (…) ellipses (…) in the Actions column.
- Click Reconnect from the menu that displays.
- A Reconnect modal displays. Note that the modal will contain fields specific to the storage platform.
- Enter the required connection information. (For information about the required field for your platform, refer to the connector-specific documentation.)
- Sign in to the platform or test the connection (based on the platform).
- You will see a green "Connected” message at the bottom of the modal when DryvIQ establishes a connection. (If the connection fails, verify the information you entered.)
- Click Done to finish creating the connection.
