Overview

This policy specifies what you want to happen to the source content once it has been transferred to the destination.

Keep the Items on the Source

This option copies the content on the source to the destination and takes no further action against the source content when the job is complete. You would choose this option if users need to retain access to the content on the source platform.

Delete the Items from the Source

This option will copy all content (files, folders) from the source to the destination. After verifying everything was moved to the destination successfully, DryvIQ will delete all transferred content from the source. DryvIQ will not delete files that were not successfully copied to the destination during the initial transfer. These files will remain on the source. When a failure occurs during a transfer, the job will continue and flag the failures for review. DryvIQ will not traverse the folder's content when a failure occurs at the folder level. It will be skipped, and the next folder will be evaluated for transfer. You would choose this option if you are moving off the source platform and want the content removed as part of your migration to the new (destination) platform.
