Overview Adding Components

Overview

The Components Data allows you to select how you want to visualize the data. You have the option of selecting a pie chart, bar chart, table, or a summary of the items. You can then further customize the visualization to your liking.

Adding Components

  1. Click the tile that corresponds to the visualization you want to use.

  2. The Edit visualization panel displays.
  3. Select the data source you want to use from the Data source list.
  4. The remaining fields vary based on the visualization you selected. Use the available options to customize the visualization to your liking.

  5. Click Save. The tile on the dashboard will reflect the edits you made.
  6. Click the left arrow next to the Edit Visualization text to add another component.

Pie Charts on custom insights show the top five values and all other values grouped into “Other.” If the first five values are large enough, they will fill the entire chart, and the “Other” segment will not be clickable so you can view the results. To make this segment clickable, remove another label from the legend to filter it out of the chart. This makes the “Other” segment available for selection so you can view the results.
